My name is Amanda
I have been a seamstress and sewing teacher by trade for about 8 years, having previously just sewn as a hobby or for family and friends.I come from a long line of seamstresses on both sides of the family and had the privilege of being taught lots of sewing techniques and pattern drafting by my Mum, Grandmother and Great Aunt. I have always loved fashion and dressmaking and studied textile design at College and then briefly did a stint as a fashion stylist before my four boys came along.

From taking up a hem on a dress to a complete design to finished garment dress making service, its all done at The Wendy House.
